SMK Negeri 5 Pangalengan membuka program keahlian Agribisnis Ternak,Mengingat Bahwa bidang ini sangat potensial dan mendukung potensi di wilayah Pangalengan,Mayoritas pekerjaan masyarakat pangalenagan sebagai petani dan peternak oleh karena itu SMK Negeri 5 Pangalengan membuka jurusan Keperawatan hewan yang di dirikan pada Oktober 2017.
Tujuan dari Program Keahlian ini adalah mempersiapkan dan membekali peserta didik dengan pengetahun baik Softskill dan Hardskill serta menanamkan jiwa wirausaha pada peserta didik dan mampu bersaing di dunia kerja.
