SMK Negeri 5 Pangalengan pada tanggal 3 Mei 2018 telah melaksanakan prosesi Wisuda dengan meluluskan sebanyak 428 Siswa dari 3 [tiga] kompetensi keahlian, yaitu Agribisnis Ternak Ruminansia, Agribisnis Ternak Unggas, dan Tata Niaga Pemasaran.
Tahun ini merupakan salah satu tahun ajaran terbaik dari tahun – tahun terbaik yang pernah dicapai SMK Negeri 5 Pangalengan. Diantara
3 [tiga] Tahun berturut-turut Juara 1 Tingkat Provinsi LKS Provinsi bidang Livestock .
Juara 5 Tingkat Nasioal bidang Livestock.
Juara 1 Tingkat Provinsi O2SN bidang olahraga.
Dan kejuaraan lainnya serta prestasi lainnya baik di bidang akademik maupun non akademik. Ini merupakan kado terbaik untuk sang kepala sekolah yang telah membawa SMK Negeri 5 Pangalengan hingga di titik ini.
